If your child is dealing with bullying and the situation is escalating, be there to help them deal with the situation.
crowdsourced tips
Get involved if your child’s school isn’t helping to improve the climate of bullying. Have a meeting with an administrator and express your willingness to help.
If you know your child is being bullied, you should not leave them to handle it on their own. If they’re facing behavior that wouldn’t be tolerated in a workplace, or other areas of adult society, why should they be left to figure it out for themselves at school?
Bullying touches many lives and it might be happening to others in your child’s school or community. You can help by raising awareness through community events, attending workshops or trainings in your community, or sharing information with others.
