DAY 16 OF 31
Bradley Cooper's Challenge: Give Thanks
Make a list of 5 things you are grateful for when you first wake up in the morning and send it to one of your friends. Ask them to send a list to someone else in return. In doing so you are almost guaranteed a better day because you have focused on the things you have rather than the things you don’t. Post your 5 things with #MonthOfAction and tag a friend. If you don’t want to post yours publicly, you can share the graphic with #MonthOfAction.
Practicing gratitude has a number of unexpected benefits. It can increase your mental strength, boost your self-esteem, improve your relationships, and even help you sleep better -- all things that can make you more empathetic, compassionate, and resilient. By giving thanks, you can dramatically improve your day, and sharing your gratitude can help spread this simple, rewarding habit to others. Now that’s something to be grateful for :) Check out these 31 reasons to practice gratitude on a daily basis.
